A1 Agency Transport Services was established on 13th May 1983 by the present owner who continues to manage the business. During this time A1 Agency Transport Services has built a reputation that is second to none within the transport industry.

The business was started and continues to supply Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers to local haulage companies.

A1 Agency Transport Services has continually developed into new fields and many years ago after supplying Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers decided to fully enter into the haulage business and operate their own vehicles.

Today A1 Transport Services operates a modern fleet of tractor units and trailers. The tractor units range from 38 to 80  tonne gross

Whilst the fleet of trailers include everything from 45 feet flats to fully power steered flats that extend to in excess of 36 metres. Step frame trailers both fixed and extending some of which have rear steering. Machine trailers which go up to 80 tonne gross with both hydraulic and clip on ramps. And low-loader trailers with payloads up to 80 tonnes and specialist boat trailers to transport boats from the smallest to vessels in excess of 60 feet in length.

A1 Transport Services also operate their own fully equipped escort vehicles which are approved by Police Forces the depth and breadth of the country.
